Interview a Senior
I interviewed Mike; he is going to be graduating after this semester, so December of 09. After graduating from High School he started to attend Ohlone College in Fremont. However he wasn’t happy there, so he bounced around many Junior colleges for the first couple of years. He ended up quitting college after that. About two years after that he re enrolled at SJSU. He started out in business, and then switched to Kinesiology. He switched because it was more suited to him. He is very into sports and is a junior varsity coach at a high school in Fremont. Also, he is a personal trainer. If he could he would take College more serious, and gave it more of a chance. The advice that he would give freshmen is to get the most out of your time in college. Try and meet people, either inside your major or outside, but just meet new people. Also, if you want to get involved in something at school, you should do it and just sit around and let time go by. In addition to that advice he said to hang in there for the general education stuff, it will get better. The most important advice was to have fun, but have balance. Have some fun so that you won’t get washed up. But make sure that, that’s not all that you do is party.
